Tesla Model Y Now Available in India: Bookings Open with Customization Options

Tesla has officially launched its long -awaited model Y in India, which marks the entry of US cars in the country's growing electric vehicle market. The SUV is available in two variants standard rear wheel drive (RWD) and long-distance RWD starts to £ 59,89 LAKH (ex-showroom) with prices. Customers can now configure and order model Y through Tesla's official website, with the expectation of delivery soon.

 

How to order Tesla Model Y

    Visit Tesla's official website: Navigate the Model Y section and click "Order now".

    Choose India as your country: Make the area of India to see local prices and alternatives.

    Select Registration: At the moment, orders are open for Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru.

Choose your version:

       Standard RWD: ₹59.89 lakh

      Long Distance RWD: ₹67.89 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi)

 

Customize your model Y:

Paint option: Stealth Gray (no extra cost), Pearl White, Diamond Black, Glacier Blue, Quicksilver or Ultra Red (₹95,000 to ₹1.85 lakh extra)

Interior: All-Black (included) or black and white ₹ 95,000 extra).

Full self-driving (FSD): OT adds 6 lakhs, enabling advanced autonomous driving through OTA updates.

 

Price break (on-road, Delhi)

   Basic model Y RWD: Starts at ₹61.07 lakh (including 5% GST, 1% TCS, ₹50,000 service fee, and ₹7,000 road tax).

 

Fully loaded long distance RWD (with Quicksilver paint, FSD, and premium interior): ₹78 lakh on-road.

Ordering process and payment

Early order amount: ₹22,220 (non-refundable, payable via credit card/UPI)..

Confirmation payment: An additional ₹3 lakh must be paid within a week to secure the booking (also non-refundable).
